TAPE IN HAIR EXTENSIONS

TAPE IN HAIR EXTENSIONS are a form of hair extensions that are made of a natural hair that actually gets taped into your existing hair. Sounds scary, right? Well – it’s not! Think of a clip-in extension – it’s about 1-2 inches wide with double dided keratin tape. They are applied by placing once piece on a section of your natural hair. From there, we’ll pull the strand up, exposing the sticky side, and will place the second piece, to create a sandwich with your natural hair. Typically, the average head will use about 100 grams of hair – which is approximately 20 “sandwiches” – or 40 separate pieces of tape-in. These pieces are placed roughly in the same places that clip-in hair extensions would go. After they’re placed – Ta-Da! You’ve got yourself some beautiful tape in extensions!

LOOP & LOCK EXTENSIONS

LOOP & LOCK HAIR EXTENSIONS is a strand-by-strand hair extension system that uses tiny, color-coated aluminum crimps for attachment. This process uses no heat, cold, glue, wax, weaving or braiding. It is safe and painless to apply and take out. It takes approximately 1.5-3 hours to apply Loop ‘n Lock extensions to a full head (depending on how thin
or thick your own natural hair is). Yes! You can use a hair dryer, curling and hot irons, everything you would use in your own hair. We suggest air-drying your hair as often as possible. Excessive heat may damage the extensions, as they don’t produce natural oils like your own hair does. Avoid products containing protein, silicone, alcohol, ethanol, sulphates or oils, as these can all damage the bonds or certain products can remove a coating and causes the hair to get tangled and matted. Heavy conditioners should not be applied at the scalp or links but rather mid shaft to ends.
